CNC Machined Plastic Parts Manufacturer

Custom CNC machined plastic parts in POM, PEEK, PTFE, nylon, PVDF and other engineering plastics, with drawing review, dimensional inspection and prototype-to-production support.

Plastic parts can pass dimensional inspection and still fail after assembly. Moisture absorption, thermal expansion, creep, internal stress, burrs and incorrect material identification can change how a component fits or performs after machining. The right supplier must understand how the material will behave—not simply copy dimensions from a drawing.
CUSTOM CNC MACHINED PLASTIC PARTS
Zync Precision manufactures non-standard plastic components from customer drawings and STEP models, from prototype quantities through repeat production. Before machining, we review the material, geometry, tolerance, surface requirements, inspection method and end-use conditions so avoidable risks are identified early.
ENGINEERING PLASTICS WE MACHINE
POM / Acetal / Delrin Good dimensional stability, low friction and wear resistance for bushings, gears, guides, rollers, fixtures and automation components.
PEEK Selected where temperature resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical performance matter. Because material cost and grade differences are significant, material verification and controlled machining are especially important.
PTFE Excellent chemical resistance and low friction, but soft and prone to deformation and creep. Tolerances, wall thickness and workholding must be evaluated carefully.
Nylon Strong and wear resistant, but moisture absorption can affect dimensions. Drawings should define any conditioning or measurement requirements that matter to assembly.
PVDF Often used in chemical-processing and fluid-handling equipment. Heat control, burr removal and sealing-surface protection are important for reliable performance.
Other engineering plastics can be evaluated according to your drawing and application. We do not substitute a resin, grade, color or filler without customer approval.
TYPICAL PARTS
Custom bushings, insulators, rollers, guides, spacers, manifolds, valve parts, housings, fixtures, sealing components, and parts for instruments, automation systems, fluid equipment and industrial machinery.
CONTROLLING DIMENSIONAL CHANGE
Plastic reacts more strongly than metal to cutting heat, clamping pressure, ambient temperature, humidity and storage conditions. A tight tolerance that is easy in aluminum may be unstable in nylon or PTFE. We review critical dimensions against the chosen material, part geometry and inspection condition. When necessary, staged machining, stabilization or adjusted measurement methods are considered.
If dimensions must be verified at a specific temperature or after conditioning, state this clearly in the RFQ and drawing.
MACHINING RISKS WE REVIEW
Heat and chip control: Sharp tools and suitable parameters help prevent melting, smearing and poor edges.
Workholding: Excessive clamping force can distort thin walls, bores and sealing features.
Burr control: Stringy chips and soft materials can leave burrs around holes, threads, grooves and intersecting features.
Surface protection: Cosmetic faces and sealing areas require careful handling and packaging.
Material identification: Grade, filler, color and manufacturer can affect performance. Required certificates and traceability should be specified before quotation.
THREADS, INSERTS AND ASSEMBLY
Internal threads, press fits and thin sections may need more engagement, larger wall thickness, threaded inserts or a design adjustment. Tell us whether inserts and purchased hardware should be supplied and installed, and identify any torque, pull-out or assembly requirements.
QUALITY CONTROL AND TRACEABILITY
Inspection is planned around the features that drive fit and function. Depending on the project, documentation can include dimensional reports, first article inspection, material certificates, resin grade or lot traceability and production inspection records. List required documents in the RFQ so they are included in the manufacturing plan and quotation.
FROM PROTOTYPE TO REPEAT PRODUCTION
A successful sample does not automatically guarantee stable repeat orders. For production, revision control, approved material source, machining sequence, fixtures, inspection frequency and packaging must remain controlled. Our goal is to help purchasing and engineering teams reduce variation when a part moves from prototype to scheduled supply.
